Ion Beam Services (IBS) is the global leader in foundry services and support of ion implantation for the microelectronics industry. As a critical process step in the manufacture of all integrated circuits, ion implantation is now being utilized for emerging technology applications such as Silicon Carbide based devices for Light Emitting Diodes (LED), Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Lasers (VCSEL) for fiber optic switching networks and Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI) for silicon layer transfer.

Headquartered in Peynier, France IBS is an independent company providing ion implantation products and services. Founded in 1987 by the current Chairman IBS has developed a range of products and services to meet the needs of the Global Semiconductor, MEMS and Solar Industries.

Over the 25 years we have developed and refined a comprehensive range of products and services focused on the Ion Implantation of substrates. Through our unique business model we are able to deliver production proven solutions to our global customer base.
